Paddy Barnes V Stevo Timothy in aid of the Irish Wheelchair Association

Get Broadcasting are delighted to support Stevo Timothy in his wheelchair boxing match charity event, fundraising for the Irish Wheelchair Association. Galwegian comedian is taking on Belfast’s 3-time Olympic boxer Paddy Barnes for one night only for a night of sport relief like no other.

Also known as Farmer Michael, the comedian has already raised over €37,000 for the Irish Wheelchair Association, for whom he is also their Ambassador. Supported by a number of big names including Conor McGregor (who donated €10,000) and John Kavanagh, this star-studded event will see a number of wheelchair-bound fights that Get Broadcasting are live streaming across a number of social platforms.

The Irish Wheelchair Association is Ireland’s leading organisation for people with physical disabilities. They are a community founded on the belief that everyone should be able to live a life of choice and equality. Their services support people with physical disabilities to live independently, and together with Stevo Timothy’s role as Brand Ambassador, their campaigns demand equal rights and opportunities for people with physical abilities in Ireland.
